Questions and AnswersQuestions and Answers

What is MCO?
MCO is our ERC-20 token. Purchase and holding ("Lock Up") of token is required if you want to order one of the Platinum cards (Ruby Red and higher the five platinum MCO Visa Cards (Ruby Steel, Jade Green, Royal Indigo, Icy White or Obsidian Black). You can buy the token in our MCO Wallet App and/or on exchanges, such as Binance, Bittrex, and Bithumb. We will be adding more exchanges in the future.
How to lock up MCO?
If you passed our KYC (Know Your Customer) verification and have access to the crypto wallet in your app, you can lock up your MCO tokens by tapping the Card icon in the bottom-right corner of the homescreen, selecting the metal card of your choosing and following the steps to lock up the MCO, when prompted. If you don’t have enough MCO in your account, you can either deposit them from an external wallet or exchange, buy them using other crypto available in your wallet, or use your credit/debit card (or Bank Transfer, where available) to purchase them in the app.
Can I increase the staking amount?
Yes. During the initial 6-month staking period you can increase the amount of locked up MCO, by going to your MCO wallet in the app and selecting the Upgrade button. You will be prompted to add the difference between your existing stake and the one you are going for (so, for example, if you currently have locked up 50 MCO and would like to increase to 500, you will need to add 450 MCO). The new lock up will reset the timer of your lockup and another 6-month period will start. It is currently not possible to increase your lock up amount after your MCO card has been issued.
How do I transfer my MCO to Bittrex?
First, you need to open an account on Bittrex. Once you do, you need to go to the Wallets tab on Bittrex and find your MCO deposit address (type MCO in the search box). Clicking on the + sign on the left will show you the MCO deposit address. Please read the warning that pops up and make sure you only transfer MCO to that address. Make your first transfer with a smaller amount of tokens, so that you make sure everything works well. The transaction may take some time, depending on how busy the network is. If everything is okay, you may transfer the remaining tokens.
What are the benefits of staking the MCO?
Staked MCOs are locked in the app for the next six months, during which you can: Reserve of our premium Metal Cards. Receive Crypto Wallet Benefits.Get a 50% discount on your fees in Crypto Invest
How can I unlock my MCO?
After the 6-month lockup period has been completed, you can unlock your MCO. Simply go to the MCO wallet in your app and tap the “Unlock” button. Note, that by unlocking MCO you will be losing a number of benefits that came with staking, for example: Crypto Wallet Cashback Platinum Referral Rewards 50% discount on Crypto Invest fees However, your card benefits (e.g. Card Cashback, LoungeKey™ Access, fee-free ATM withdrawal limits and Interbank Exchange Rates) will not change.
